Woke up to a beautiful sunrise over Percy Priest Lake this morning. A couple of fishermen were right outside our site, throwing a line in the water. And THIS is one of the reasons we love this Airstream life…no 5 star hotel has a view quite like it.
Bob had great success with his “satellite TV signal machine” so he’s ready to relax now and wait for NFL Sunday tomorrow!
I spent some time getting in my steps, and was able to get a few shots of our rig from across the little bay we’re camped in. There are jet skis, canoes, kayaks and boats for rent during the season, but everything is closed down right now. The RV park looks lovely and the spaces right along the open water are filled with giant tour bus rigs. Our little spot is just us…and we like it that way!
Because we’re attending a fancy wedding today and tonight, we didn’t take the time to make a camp breakfast. Instead, we enjoyed delicious hot coffee and leftover apple pie. It’s so dang fun eating outside, even with a real chill in the air.
We really classed up the place, huh?
