After waking up to the smell of bacon frying and coffee perking, we enjoyed a fantastic outdoor breakfast. That’s almost the best thing about this camping thing!
In the afternoon we braved the high humidity and strolled through “downtown” Pontiac. We took in a couple of their Route 66 museums and attractions. It’s such a pretty little town, with gorgeous murals painted on several buildings by a group called Wall Dogs. We were especially thrilled when Bob found a working radio console exactly like the one he used at his first radio job! In a museum…..that makes ya feel old, I tell ya.
