Our last morning brought more cloudy skies and sprinkles, but we didn’t mind because we had our tiny shelter house to keep us dry while we sipped our coffee lakeside.

We tried to put off our departure as long as possible, so after coffee I took a little stroll through the park. I met the most delightful family…Ron and Gloria and their special needs son Jason. When Jason asked me to sign his cute autograph book, I signed the slogan he had on his t-shirt: “THIS IS WHAT AWESOME LOOKS LIKE”. We found out he loves listening to music and has 400 CDs in their camper for his summer fun! So I promised to send him a CD of The Fun Girls (shameless self-promotion, I know!) and prints of the photos we took together.

We got ourselves all hitched up and started the trip home. Along the route, we passed right through Jackson Center again, and couldn’t resist stopping one last time!
