After dilly-dallying at home and getting a relatively late start, then suffering through road construction in Louisville, we raced the setting sun through Tennessee and got to our campground after dark. Dang it!

We are staying at Nashville Shores, an enormous water park at Percy Priest Lake on the east side of Nashville. Our site is directly on the water and appears to be lovely, although we’ll know more in the morning! There was a nice gal still at the office who gave us a map to the site and the wireless password. We have full hookups, so we’ll be living like kings for three nights!

First order of business for Bob was seeing if he would be able to get the little DirecTV dish to work for football games on Sunday. So far, not so good. Again, we’re hoping to know more tomorrow. For now, it’s campfire and whiskey. We have our priorities!!
