Bob drove Vera to doggie camp so she could have a couple of days of play time and we can have a little more flexibility for visits to the theme parks.
While he was out, I took the opportunity to tidy the joint up a bit. I’ve learned that we really have to keep ahead of clutter or it quickly overwhelms our small space.
My sister Susan and her husband Frank joined us for a couple of days to stay in the Ft. Wilderness cabins, so I’m including a few interior shots. I was so eager to see what they looked like inside. The cabins are nestled in the woods, and are nondescript from outside, but they are clean and bright inside and have lots more space than I expected. This is unit number 2315. At the check-in desk, we were able to convince the clerk (who seemed like a trainee) to find one available that had the nicest setting. Our persistence paid off and the location is just right.
The big highlight for us was seeing Vince Gill with The Time Jumpers. The band is on a short tour in Florida while we’re down here. Lucky timing, lucky us!
You are living my dream! Safe travels.
Kudos to you guys for having a good time. I didn’t know they were shooting Survivor at Disneyworld. Being a guy, I sure wish there were pictures of Becky though. Outstanding job on the blog and keeping it updated.
I’m usually the one behind the camera, and that’s just the way I like it!!
